In Rome the 12th National Congress of Cardiogeratry: April 7 and 8
The integrated network in elderly care, heart failure, arrhythmology and cardiac surgery will be the focus of the 12th National Congress of Cardiogeriatrics, scheduled to be held in Rome Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8, starting at 9 a.m.00, in the conference room of the Crowne Plaza Rome – St. Peter’s (Via Aurelia Antica, 415).
Numerous speakers will address the congress, led by prof. Francesco Vetta, director U.O. of Cardiology at the Ospedale Israelitico in Rome, who will present the latest scientific news regarding diseases that most affect the elderly.
“Once again this year,” said Francesco Vetta, “the Congress of Cardiogeriatrics will bring together major opinion leaders in the topics covered, in two days that have now become a must-attend scientific event.”.
Several focuses are planned over the course of the two days. In “The territorial, integrated, multidisciplinary network in the care of the elderly with cardiological diseases,” the role of pharmacies in territorial care (news and perspectives), the needs of the frail elderly person, and socioeconomic aspects and planning will be analyzed.
The other focuses will be on “Heart failure and atrial fibrillation,” “FANV: anticoagulation therapy in the elderly,” “Heart failure in the elderly,” “Hot topics in arrhythmology in the elderly,” “Hot topics in cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology,” and “Comorbidities in the frail elderly cardiac patient.”.
